What video format and sizes are allowed? |

When video is first saved from your digital camera, they are normally in 640x480 pixels resolution and in AVI format. This resolution is not only way too big to display on Internet but it's file size is way too big and it will take you forever to upload. Also the file format is incompatible with Internet.
To ensure your video plays properly on Internet, it will need to be reduced in size and also need to be converted to FLV format.
Most common video size on Internet is 320x240. Although PCShare.Com supports upto 640x480 resolutions, it is crucial that you reduce the size to more manageable size for the netizens. Just remember, bigger the resolution the bigger the file, and it will take so much more time to upload and view.
Converting AVI to FLV format and reducing the video size down will save you drastic amount of time for upload and view. For example, converting 3 minutes AVI video with typical size of 110MB to FLV and 480x360 can be small as 11MB. It will save you about an hour of upload time!
